How Gloucester County Supports the United Way
Corporate Gifts
Each year a number of companies within the community make generous contributions to United Way of Gloucester County using our Corp pledge form. In doing so, they are showing their commitment to needy people in Gloucester County. We thrive when we Live United!
Employee Campaigns
A number of Gloucester County employers provide their workers an opportunity to join in supporting our community through Employee Campaigns. Many of these donors are members of the Alexis de Tocqueville and Founders Societies. These supporters each contribute at least $1,000.00, given either through a company’s employee campaign or by an individual or physician in the community…for Campaign 2025 their generosity totaled $255,622.00!
An Employee Campaign is easy to organize; help is available from United Way staff and loaned executives, who will walk employers through each step…simply call 856.845.4303 x180. Payroll deduction is the easiest way to give, spreading your gift across the year. In addition, everything you need to run an Employee or Workplace Campaign can be found in our Campaign Toolkit.
Corporate Sponsorship
United Way of Gloucester County is in our 69th year of working with local partners and organizations like yours to address the community’s needs and to face the challenges of tomorrow. We will continue to be the cornerstone for the county to deliver the collective power of GOOD by focusing on our new initiative of eliminating childhood poverty and building a stronger Gloucester County.
Your role as a community partner is more important than ever to help us create long-term solutions for our county’s children and their families. Working together, we can create a place where everyone thrives!
As we embark on our 2026 Campaign, we invite you to bolster our campaign efforts by participating in our Annual Sponsorship Appeal. Your sponsorship helps us cover the administrative costs of sharing the United Way of Gloucester County’s mission with more people to increase our donors, volunteers, and advocates. Your sponsorship support also ensures contributions go directly to fund programs and services by covering the costs of our four signature events:
- 2026 United for Children Campaign Kickoff (August 2026) – a fun event with games and entertainment to launch our annual campaign for children and families in Gloucester County.
- Leadership Gloucester County – A nine-month educational program investing in leaders today to create a stronger, more connected tomorrow.
- Raise Your Voice For Children (October 2026) – A vocal competition and fundraising event for local talent to raise awareness and move the needle on child poverty.
- 2027 Volunteer Leadership Event (May 2027) – Honoring volunteers and celebrating the power of service in our community.
