How Gloucester County Supports the United Way
Corporate Gifts
Each year a number of companies within the community make generous contributions to United Way of Gloucester County using our Corp pledge form. In doing so, they are showing their commitment to needy people in Gloucester County. We thrive when we Live United!
Employee Campaigns
A number of Gloucester County employers provide their workers an opportunity to join in supporting our community through Employee Campaigns. Many of these donors are members of the Alexis de Tocqueville and Founders Societies. These supporters each contribute at least $1,000.00, given either through a company’s employee campaign or by an individual or physician in the community…for Campaign 2023 their generosity totaled $272,386!
An Employee Campaign is easy to organize; help is available from United Way staff and loaned executives, who will walk employers through each step…simply call 856.845.4303 x180. Payroll deduction is the easiest way to give, spreading your gift across the year. In addition, everything you need to run an Employee or Workplace Campaign can be found in our Campaign Toolkit.
Thanks for Giving Program
Donors who contribute at the Fair Share/County Contributor level or higher (at least 0.6% of annual pay) will be entered into the Thanks for Giving raffle drawings. The prizes range from a $500 gift card for Apple or Amazon to gift cards in the amounts of $50 and $100 to stores such as Wawa, Target, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart. These prizes are sponsored by our corporate partners.
Corporate Sponsorship
For over 67 years, the United Way of Gloucester County has worked with local partners and organizations like yours to address the community’s needs and to face the challenges of tomorrow. We will continue to be the cornerstone for the county to deliver the collective power of GOOD by focusing on Education, Health and Financial Stability for our neighbors.

As we embark on our 2024 Campaign, we invite you to bolster our campaign efforts by participating in our Annual Sponsorship Appeal. Your sponsorship helps us cover the administrative costs of sharing the United Way of Gloucester County’s mission with more people to increase our donors, volunteers, and advocates. Your support also ensures contributions go directly to fund programs and services by covering the costs of:
• campaign printed and digital assets
• media outlet distribution
• training of Employee Campaign Managers
• Campaign Kickoff event
• Thanks for Giving program
• Volunteer Leadership Event
