2025 COLLECTION DRIVE FACT SHEET

WHO: United Way of Gloucester County and Gloucester County Board of Commissioners – Human Service Advisory Council

WHEN: Wednesday, October 1 to Wednesday, December 17, 2025 (anytime within this period, or earlier)

HOW: Sponsor a toy collection drive at your workplace. Encourage employees to contribute a new, unwrapped toy during the period you select for collection. Donations can be dropped off at the Toys for Tots collection site, or there is a volunteer who can pick up the items. Please call the building prior to drop-off to ensure that there are volunteers ready to collect your items! If you need a pick-up, please notify us as soon as possible with your requested date.

RECOMMENDED DONATIONS: new, unwrapped toys, books, educational toys, infant toys, sports equipment, MP3 players, watches, rolled blankets, blow dryers, etc. There is usually a shortage of items for children between infancy to age 3 and age 10 & older.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Complete the 2025 Toys for Tots Sign Up Form and email to Michael Gower at United Way of Gloucester County (856-845-4303 x 140 for questions).

HOW DONATIONS ARE DISTRIBUTED: Toys for Tots receives requests from the Board of Social Services, churches, human service agencies, municipalities, and families.

HOW TO RECOMMEND A FAMILY: Complete a request form on the Toys for Tots National website. (Click on “request a toy”, state: NJ, location: Gloucester) Families will be required to show proof of residency and birth certificates for all children that toys are requested for and will be contacted when to pick up the toys. NO PHONE REQUESTS PLEASE.

OTHER INFORMATION: Limited supplies of cardboard collecting bins are available at United Way (454 Crown Point Road, Thorofare, NJ 08086) for your organization to pick up. Toys for Tots also welcomes checks made payable to “Marine Toys for Tots Foundation” or donations can be made to the United Way of Gloucester County, made payable to “United Way of Gloucester County” for this program.

WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR COLLECTION: You can bring the items to the Toys for Tots collection site, 210 County House Road, Shady Lane Complex, Building E, Clarksboro, 08020, from 9 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday. You can also email wenonah.nj@toysfortots.org to arrange for the items to be picked up or call their office, 856-224-8061 or 8063, fax 8064, PICKUPS will be arranged 12/1/2025-12/17/2025.

ALL ITEMS MUST BE AT THE COLLECTION SITE BY DECEMBER 17th.
