Dear Friends:

Imagine not knowing where your next meal will come from or how you’ll feed your family. Unfortunately, this is a year-round reality for over 200,000 South Jersey residents facing food insecurity. The United Way of Gloucester County, in collaboration with the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners – Human Service Advisory Council, invites you and your organization to make a meaningful impact in our community by participating in the 20th Annual Gloucester County Cares About Hunger Food Drive.

Event Details:
• Collection Dates: Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, to Sunday, March 2, 2025 (you may begin collecting prior to 2/23/25)
• Drop-off & Delivery Date: Monday, March 3rd, 2025, between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM
• Where: United Way of Gloucester County Office, 454 Crown Point Road, Thorofare, NJ 08086

How You Can Help: Since 2006, our community has rallied together, and through generous contributions, we have collected over 256,597 pounds of food, providing essential support to those in need. Thanks to last year’s drive, we were able to supply more than 7,500 meals to individuals and families facing food insecurities. We are counting on your support to make this year’s drive even more successful.

Preferred Items:
• Canned tuna, chicken, corned beef, ham, and salmon
• Breakfast cereals (whole grain), oatmeal, granola bars, pancake mix
• Peanut butter, beans (canned or dry), peanuts, sunflower seeds, almonds
• Canned vegetables, fruits, soups, stews, chili, fruit cups, applesauce, dried fruit
• Canned 100% fruit juices, canned and shelf-stable dairy products
• Rice, pasta, macaroni & cheese dinners
• No Glass Bottles or Jars – Please

How to Participate: To join us in the fight against hunger, please complete the online sign-up form or complete the attached sign-up form in a Word document and email it to me or fax to 856-384-1812 as soon as possible. For those wishing to make a monetary donation, checks can be made payable to “United Way of Gloucester County” or online at Donate – United Way of Gloucester County (please make sure to state in the Description that your gift is to go toward the Food Drive).
