South Jersey Gas, in collaboration with United Way of Gloucester County, will host an energy assistance enrollment event for customers. Open to all South Jersey Gas customers in Southern New Jersey, and there is no fee to attend.
DATE: October 20, 2026
TIME: 2 P.M. to 6 P.M.
PLACE: Woodbury Child Development Center, 36 Carpenter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096
Residents applying for assistance are asked to bring copies of the following documents:
- Copy of lease or mortgage
- Most current gas and electric bills
- All identification cards for household members (including school identification)
- Social Security cards for household members (birth certificate for anyone 1 year or younger)
You will also need proof of income for all working individuals in the household, to include the following:
- Social Security letter
- Child support documents
- Alimony documentation
- Unemployment documentation
- Disability letter
- Last 2 pay stubs if you get paid biweekly
- Last 4 pay stubs if you get paid weekly
- Survivor benefits
