The United Way of Gloucester County is looking for community volunteers to join our Grant Review Groups for the 2023-2024 grant cycle.
Review Group Members meet 2-4 times, between January and February, to determine scoring and funding levels for partner agencies that submit a grant request with the United Way of Gloucester County.
These meetings typically last for two hours and are held in-person during the week in the evening. Each committee has a Chairperson that will help lead and guide the discussion.
Being a part of a review committee means that you have a perspective and are willing to share. We are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds in finance, education, health, marketing, special needs, program management, addiction services, childcare, and more.
What makes these committees work is that we have a wide variety of community members with different backgrounds, and when we all come together to review an application we bring our expertise and can each focus in on the parts of the application that we have the most knowledge in.
New Review Member Orientation will be held at the United Way of Gloucester County office on Wednesday, 1/4/23, at 6:00 pm.
