Since 2006, because of generous participants, we have collected 220,258 pounds of food to combat hunger in our community. In 2020 alone we were able to collect 23,020 pounds of food and provide 15,347 meals. Please join us as we once again collect food to help our neighbors in need. The 16th annual Gloucester County Cares about Hunger food drive will be held from Monday, 2/22/21 to Sunday, 2/28/21. The delivery of the collected food to the United Way office will be held on MONDAY, 3/1/21, BETWEEN 9:30 AM AND 2:00 PM. Having the delivery and pick-up on Monday will give the organizations five (5) full business days of collections, plus the weekend for staff and public participation. If needed, we can have a volunteer pick up the items on March 1, between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
