United Way of Gloucester County Awards

Award Recipients

The Volunteer Leadership Award, United Way of Gloucester County's highest individual honor, recognizes long term volunteer service and leadership to the United Way of Gloucester County.  Created in 1984 by special action of the Board of Directors, the award is presented each year at the Volunteer Leadership Event in the spring. For 2019, we are pleased to present the Volunteer Leadership Award to Lisa Carney.

Each year, the Spirit of United Way Award honors a select few volunteers that exemplify the depth of caring in our community.  This award is a tribute to those who demonstrate a special spirit, those who go above and beyond to meet the needs of our community.  The United Way of Gloucester County graciously acknowledges the lasting impact of their outstanding efforts. For 2019, our Spirit of United Way Award winners are Mike D'Alonzo and Bob McErlane.

For 2019, the Women United Award is given to Mary Schultes, for her dedication in helping to build a strong network of women leaders who work towards a common goal of enriching the lives of women through active community involvement, philanthropy and personal leadership.

Each year hundreds of organizations, both large and small, make generous contributions to the United Way of Gloucester County.  We would like to thank each and every one of these organizations for their generous commitment to our community.  Employee Campaign Awards are awarded to organizations whose employees achieved at least 30% of their Fair Share Potential. Congratulations to all!
